Licensed Behavior Analysts assess your child, utilizing various techniques and strategies to identify important behavioral and social areas to develop through an individualized treatment plan.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that can improve social, communication, and learning skills through positive reinforcement. Many experts consider ABA to be the gold-standard treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental conditions.

 Our team is here to support and guide your family in understanding every aspect of your child's day to day programs and progress, as a parents' insight to their child's journey plays an important role in their child's success.  

SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS: 

On site Social Skills Groups are designed for children ages 3 to 15, who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) .

Targeted areas include:

• Emotional regulation: recognizing emotions in yourself and others-
• Conversational skills: initiating, staying on topic, taking turns, ending a conversation-
• Listening skills and comprehension of non-verbal communication: eye contact, facial expressions, body language, personal space, tone of voice
• Play skills: initiating and maintaining play 

• One-to-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) sessions for children and adolescents which take place at  the Quartet Behavioral Clinic rather than in the home environment. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and highly trained Behavior Technicians (BTs) work one-to-one with clients under the supervision of BCBAs/LBAs.
• Continuous support by LBAs.
• Ensuring generalization of your child’s skills across people and settings.
• Social opportunities and play  during one-on-one sessions. Our clinic offers social opportunities to make new friends and learn in a group environment, all while having fun!

We understand how challenging it can be to raise a child with developmental disabilities, so we do everything in our power to create a seamless experience throughout the advocacy process.  We take care of every aspect of the process with the educational attorney, from assessment to treatment design, implementation, and monitoring.  We provide home-based, school based, and clinic based (Great Neck, NY) services

• ABA Therapy conducted by Registered Behavior Technicians & Trained Behavior Technicians under the direct supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst. 
• Our BCBAs/LBAs create and implement individualized behavior plans to improve functional communication and adaptive learning skills, reduce behaviors by involving family & caregivers in the therapy process via parent trainings and monthly team meetings.

 At Quartet Behavioral Spectrum Services we ensure provision of  evidence based treatment as well as easy access to ABA sessions conducted via Tele-Health (when permitted). Please inquire about your telehealth insurance coverage.
